A couple weeks after I had Addisyn, my buff friend Amber brought over a jar of Friendship Tea. How comforting! We just went and visited them this weekend and I had the opportunity to go through one of her cookbooks and came across the recipe! Now I can make her famous Friendship Tea and think of her sweetness every time I drink it.
Ingredients:
2 C. Tang
1 C. Instant Tea (decaf)
1 C. Sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 pkg. Wylers Lemonade Mix 8 oz.
1/2 C. red hots
Directions:
(1) Mix all together and pour into glass jars.
(2) 1 heaping tablespoon per 1 cup hot water.
Helpful Hints:
(1) I wasn't able to find the Wylers brand lemonade mix. I used regular lemonade mix and since 8 oz = 1 cup that is how I measured it.

Sweet Tea
It just wouldn't be very southerly of me if I didn't post something for sweet tea now would it? I have a handful of friends that when they come over and learn I only have "Yankee Tea" they just ask for water. Now, I like my tea sweet just like the rest of "ya'll". Make this and your southern friends will thank you.

Ingredients:
2 cups water
2 large tea bags
1 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. baking soda
Directions:
(1) In a saucepan bring 2 cups water to a boil. Remove from heat.
(2) Add 1 cup of sugar and stir until dissolved. Add baking soda and stir until dissolved.
(3) Steep 2 large tea bags until tea is desired strength. Remove tea bags.
(4) In a 2-quart pitcher add tea mixture. Fill pitcher with remaining water. Stir and chill.

Ten Lemon - Lemonade
This home-made lemonade is so refreshing. I first had it at my friend Jennifer Thomas' home. Well worth the extra time and effort.Ingredients:
10 lemons
1 cup sugar
ice water
Directions:
(1) Squeeze the juice from 10 regular size lemons. If the lemons are large you may only need 6.
(2) Transfer the juice to a 2-quart pitcher.
(3) Add 1 cup of sugar to the lemon juice.
(4) Fill 2-quart pitcher with ice water until the mixture reaches the 2-quart line.
(5) Stir. If you have left over lemons slice them and put them into the lemonade.
